Tuition & Fees

Schedule for 2019-2020 School Year

Each parish elementary/middle school shall maintain a system of tuition and fees which partially or fully fund the costs of operating and maintaining the school. In determining tuition, each parish elementary/middle school is to utilize the projected cost per student analysis prepared by the Diocesan Business Office annually. Our current pupil cost, which is calculated by dividing the expenses by the amount of students, is $9,936.

Active Parishioner Rate

Registration Fee: $85 (per family) [$135.00 for existing families if paid after May 17, 2019]
Book/Tech Fee: $210 per child
Tuition: $2,890 per child
Total: $3,100

Non-Active Parishioner/Non-Parishioner Rate

Registration Fee: $85 (per family) [$135.00 for existing families if paid after May 17, 2019]
Book/Tech Fee: $210 per child
Tuition: $5,590 per child
Total: $5,800

Financial Assistance Available

Families not qualifying for an Indiana Choice Scholarship can apply for Pastoral assistance. To qualify for Pastor assistance, you must be an active parishioner at SS. Peter & Paul or St. Mary. To apply for Pastoral assistance, you must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment online. Scholarship values will be determined by the needs assessment completed by FACTS and by the Pastors of SS. Peter & Paul or St. Mary.

Definition of Active Registered Parishioner: The family must be registered parishioners of either St. Peter and Paul or St. Mary prior to the upcoming fall semester. An exception may be made for a family moving into the area from out of town. The family must be recognized in the following ways: Regular attendance at either parish and regular use of offertory envelopes in the collection or online giving.

We also accept families who qualify for the School Choice Scholarship Vouchers and Tax Credit Scholarships for incoming Kindergarten students and students enrolling in first grade after attending kindergarten in public schools through the Northeast Indiana SGO .  School Choice Scholarships will cover the majority of tuition and fees for the student.  Tax Credit Scholarships are one the the approved steps in qualifying for a School Choise Scholarship.  The school principal can answer any questions regarding the School Choice and Tax Credit Scholarships.

The Diocese of Ft. Wayne-South Bend also offers financial assistance to families in need.  Large Family Fund scholarships are available for families in need with 3 or more children attending Catholic Schools.  Bishop Kevin Rhoades awards scholarships to a set number of students in the Diocese.  Both Diocesan scholarship opportunities have specific applications procedures.  The school will distribute the information to families when it becomes available.
